West Ham fans have got very little time for Joe Allen. The Stoke City midfield man is currently languishing near the bottom of the Championship with the Potters, yet that hasn’t stopped West Ham from poking around and looking into the signing of the Welshman.
Been watching the WBA v Stoke game on and off tonight, but I've seen enough of Joe Allen to know that he isn't good enough for us.
He is also the complete opposite of what we need in midfield.

At the age of 29-years-old, Allen is far from at the peak of his powers, and as The Express linked him with a move to Stratford earlier in the window, these links have failed to go away and now the fans are getting worried that they could be set to sign the midfielder.
With that in mind, the Hammers tuned in to watch West Brom, their FA Cup 4th round opponents, take on Stoke City, who Allen started for, and at the end of the game, they found themselves desperately hoping that they don’t end up signing the Welshman.
You can read the Irons’ thoughts on Allen here:
He loves taking ppl out and he was already on a yellow.
Stupid that and lucky to get away with it.
Not Prem standard for me

Definately… The fact we are mentioned in the same breath as players like that is depressing, we need a box to box physical imposing midfielder.. Not that moody Dagenham market pirlo midget…

… so it will be a 3.5 year deal on double his current deal then …..

I said the same thing, no pace either

Totally agree, so we will sign him then

Which is Why Sullivan will sign him

The Hammers are pretty clear when it comes to Allen, and will be livid if the Welshman is signed.
