West Ham United captain Mark Noble could retire at the end of next season, according to reports.

Rumours emerged online (via West Ham Gossip) that the 33-year-old veteran midfielder could hang up his boots once the club’s 125th-anniversary campaign draws to a close, bringing to an end a career in East London that started back in 2004.

Noble has become a highly respected figure at the East London club and some believe that he should be placed in the category of ‘club legend‘ when he calls time on his playing career.
