Don’t hold your breath just yet folks.
That seemed to be the message that broadcaster Jim White was putting across when it came to the latest news regarding a possible takeover at West Ham United. It’s well known that relationships between the fans and the board aren’t exactly tip-top right now, or for some time now.
However those fans who want the club to be sold as soon as possible might have to wait a little bit longer for their wish to be granted according to the talkSPORT host. Speaking on his show yesterday, White revealed that he had been told by one of the owners directly regarding the situation at the club, and that it could be some time before Gold, Sullivan and Brady move on:
“Just as we came on air, I got a call from one of the owners.”
“They do not like the fact that, in their eyes, they’re being hung out to dry.”
“I said: ‘Are you going to walk away?’ The answer was: ‘Not at the moment.'”

There were reports late last night that the club had received a £350m bid to take the club off their hands, but as stated they don’t have much of a desire to leave right now.
Maybe it could happen somewhere down the line, but as things stand it could be a long time coming before we can finally take the club in the right direction.
