As the Hammers prepare to welcome their new keeper.

With Joe Hart expected to become a West Ham United player sometime very soon, the Hammer support will be hoping that the England keeper will be able to provide that solidity between the posts that was missing at times last season.

The 30-year-old, surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium during the Pep Guardiola reign, spent last season on loan at Torino before returning to England at the close of the season.

The media seem to have given Hart a hard time in recent years, something which our captain, Mark Noble, doesn`t feel the goalkeeper deserves.

Talking to the media about the Hammers impending new arrival, Noble has remarked,

‘I’ve known Joe for a long time, we played for England U21s together years ago.

‘In my opinion, he has been a little bit hard done by in recent years. He has been fantastic for England and for his club for the last 10 years, and he probably deserves a little bit more respect.’

For me, the probable signing of Joe Hart is something I applaud and I`m sure the Hammer support will get behind Joe and give him the boost he needs.
