The new dawn that was supposed to be heralded, at Vicarage Road, never materialised.

Instead, the travelling Hammers support was forced to watch another inept performance that ended in yet another defeat.

The performance wasn`t well received by those in the away end and derogatory chants were forthcoming.

In the aftermath of yet another disappointing showing, Mark Noble has appealed for unity.

Our club captain has accepted that things are far from right on the playing field and in the popular tabloid publication, The Sun, has remarked,

“It`s a very difficult situation for us.

“Fans show their emotions and rightly so as they`re not happy and pay a lot of money to come and watch us.

“I know it`s hard, I know they`re frustrated and we are too because we know we`re better than what we`re showing.

“But I urge them to stick by us – we need them.”

Does Mark have a point?
