West Ham are likely to be active again in the January transfer window and fresh names are already starting to emerge in the market.
Manuel Pellegrini spent in excess of £100m during the summer and is likely to spend heavily again when the market reopens in a couple of months but not everyone is pleased by some of the latest targets linked with a move to the club.
Former Arsenal and Manchester City man Samir Nasri has been touted for a shock return to the Premier League to join the Hammers, which certainly raises eyebrows considering the options they currently have in the wide positions.
On top of that, Nasri has certainly declined significantly in recent years and would likely command a high wage to make a move – which has left West Ham fans on social media pretty unanimous in their view that this particular deal should be avoided.
We have gathered some of the best reactions below.

Haven’t seen him play since he turned out for Sevilla a couple of years ago – the trouble is, he’d already regressed to testimonial pace then! – Best swerved.

Bit late in his career and obviously if we’re interested he’ll get top money and be injured more than not.
I think we should be looking for the youngsters to come through be it from the academy or elsewhere— good beer me (@craftbeerninja) November 8, 2018
If they were to offer him anything more than they’ve offered @_DeclanRice then the owners need to take a massive run up and jump off Dover cliffs just to see who lands further!!
