With a lack of quantity of rumours relating to West Ham United Football Club, we thought we`d offer another piece relating to an ex-Hammer.

Last week we mentioned how Middlesbrough were looking at taking Kieron Dyer, after the player had been released, by mutual consent, from his contract at Loftus Road.

Well it now appears that the Teeside club are content to pay Dyer the hefty sum of £10,000 for each game he plays, clearly aware of his possible fitness limitations.

Speaking about the player though, the Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray had this to say about the 34 year-old, commenting,

“Kieron was some footballer as a young man.”

“If we can get him on the field, he`ll be a big asset. He can change games with his speed and ability to release the ball at the right time.”

But, can he stay fit is the big question!
