West Ham secured a vital victory on Saturday after hitting four past Burnley at the London Stadium in a 4-2 win.
Sean Dyche’s side pegged the Hammers back twice to equalise before the home side secured all three points after Felipe Anderson’s second of the game, with Javier Hernandez sealing the result in the dying minutes.
The victory could prove to be crucial in providing Manuel Pellegrini’s side with a platform to build upon heading into the busy festive season and plenty of fans took to social media to discuss the performance of full-back Aaron Cresswell.
28-year-old Cresswell has been forced to fight with Arthur Masuaku for first-team opportunities this season, with his start against Burnley being just his fourth Premier League appearance of the season.
While there is still work to be done, many fans took to Twitter to praise the full-back for his performance in the recent victory.
Cresswell played rather well today, seems to make Anderson play better as he knows where he’s going to be.
Zabaleta, proper professional, great captain.
Not sure whose fault both goals were, but regardless Diop played another good game.

Cresswell at LB once again proving he's miles ahead of Masuaku. So, so much better defensively and doesn't mess about with pointless step overs in an attempt to make it onto Soccer AM.

Absolutely quality performance from West Ham today. Moved the ball about brilliantly, poor to concede two but @F_Andersoon was fantastic today, that is what you want for £42m. Burnley were very awful but defence yet again were superb, Cresswell earning his place in the team #COYI

Thought we dominated the game but twice we were complacent! Anderson looked better and Cresswell was more reliable than Masuaku ! Happy day!⚒⚒⚒
