West Ham fans have had a lot of frustrations this season. One of the main gripes they’ve got is with the form of Manuel Lanzini. The Argentine has been well below par, and whilst he’s not expected to score and assist every week, he needs to be doing better than his recent form.
Say what you like, he’s what we wish Lanzini was. https://t.co/hyTdjf4NBA

One West Ham fan has gone out of his way to compare Lanzini to Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish. The Villa man bagged a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win over Brighton on the weekend, dragging his side to all three points, and the Irons want to see that from Lanzini sooner rather than later.
Across eight games in the Premier League this season, Lanzini is yet to score a goal. The 26-year-old has assisted twice for teammates in the league, Transfermarkt, but in eight games, two assists and zero goals is below the standards that the fans want from the attacking midfield man, and they’re not being quiet about it.

Hard to argue with this.

The most annoying thing…. lanzini has the ability but only produces in about 3 games a season!!

Unfortunately this is so true!

Have to say I’d take Greelish over Lanzini any day of the week. Just hasn’t been same player since coking back from injury and ultimately Payet made him look better when he played alongside him.

Agreed, Lanzini irately turns out a decent performance. Usually spends his time whining on the floor for a free kick when someone brushed him

Lanzini massively over rated … shows glimpses but way too inconsistent

These fans all seem to be saying the same thing, and they’re desperate to see more from Lanzini in the comings weeks.
