West Ham have started to pick up steam in the Premier League after fighting back from a slow start to the season to win their opening three fixtures in December.
The Hammers picked up a valuable win on the road against Newcastle before following that up with victories over Cardiff City and Crystal Palace at the London Stadium, which sent Manuel Pellegrini’s side charging up the standings.
There are plenty more challenges on the horizon though as West Ham face a variety of fixtures during a busy festive season that could make or break their campaign, starting with a clash against rock-bottom side Fulham this weekend.
While West Ham will be expected to emerge victorious against their fellow London side, Pellegrini has some issues to resolve after it emerged that Lucas Perez suffered a freak injury in the recent win over Crystal Palace.
