As if losing 3-0 away to Burnley wasn’t bad enough, West Ham fans have now been handed some awful injury news. Having watched Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood score before Roberto punched one into his own net, the supporters’ Saturday afternoon got worse as Manuel Lanzini then went off injured.

The Argentine has suffered a suspected broken collarbone, as was claimed by ExWHUemployee on Twitter, and the fear is that he’ll be out for a long time with the West Ham insider saying in his update that the expected recovery time is two months.
The supporters have got every reason to be frustrated. A lot of the 2018/19 season saw Lanzini absent owing to a serious knee injury he picked up prior to the start of the 2018 World Cup, and now the fans have to deal with playing without him during the festive period when the games come thick and fast.
Should Nathan Holland be given a run in the first team?
Yes of course! He can't make us worse
Not yet! He's not ready

The fans are far from happy with Lanzini’s absence and will be wishing for a speedy recovery.
