Leicester City showed West Ham a lesson in football last night. The Hammers got battered by Brendan Rodger’s Foxes, with the London side leaving the King Power 4-1 losers at full-time, and the supporters were left fuming at the performance of one Manuel Lanzini.
The Argentine was horrendous throughout his 90 minutes, and the fans were very quick to tag onto his shocking display and took to Twitter to bombard him with abuse for what was nothing short of an abysmal performance as he earned a 4/10 rating from Football.London.
It’s easy to understand why the Irons were fuming at Lanzini too. The Argentine started ahead of Pablo Fornals and offered absolutely nothing in a game where even just having someone in his role who did the running and put in the effort would have gone a very long way and the fact that Lanzini didn’t even put the work in has only left the fans even more agitated.

Moyes should just hook Lanzini straight off at half time and tell him to not come back. He doesn’t want play for this club, he couldn’t care less. Half hearted jogging, given the ball away almost every time he’s had it. Looks like a weak little boy. Had enough of it.
