Konchesky In England Call Up.

Blimey, England manager Sven Goran Erickson has realised you don’t have to be at a top five club to be a top England prospect!

Hammers in form player Konchesky has been named in the squad for the ‘friendly’ against Argentina in Geneva this Saturday (kick off 4.45pm)

The last time Konchesky featured for England was in a friendly against Australia in 2003. As Ashley Cole is injured, the 24 year old Hammer could have a perfect chance to show Sven what he can do and gatecrash next years World Cup squad. He does however face stiff competition from Chelsea’s Wayne Bridge.
