This Saturday, at the London Stadium, West Ham United entertain Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The season hasn’t started as we all hoped for the Hammers, three games into the 2018 / 2019 season and we find ourselves rooted to the foot of the Premier League table having lost our three opening fixtures.

Hopefully, Wolverhampton Wanderers at home will be the fixture that sees us get back to winning ways.

However, Wolves will prove to be a tough test, although they were only promoted from the Championship last May, they’ve already shown they are a force to be reckoned with, having pushed Manchester City all the way last time out, earning a very creditable draw.

Here at Vital West Ham, we’re giving you the opportunity to, via our poll, facility, to predict the outcome of this intriguing fixture:

It’ll be interesting to see how you view this game going.

Ahead of the fixture, we’re also able to bring you the names of those chosen to officiate:

Referee – Chris Kavanagh
Assistant Referee – Simon Long
Assistant Referee – Sian Massey-Ellis
Fourth Official – Steve Martin

Let’s hope fortune is smiling on Saturday.

  • Wolves have a lot of fast and skilful attackers (so do we) and I expect a exciting game with lots of goals. So a 3-2 or 2-2 result would hardly surprise. Using the managers preferred formation 4-2-3-1, I would hope to see the following line up (with Arnie fit).
Fabianski – Fredericks, Balbuena, Diop, Cresswell – Rice, Sanchez – Yarmolenko, Wiltshire, Anderson – Arnie.

Hopefully if we keep it tight at the back, our front four can cause them a lot of problems and we can get the three points we need. I went for Rice and Sanchez as they are probably best suited to cover the full backs , when they go forward. COYI
