It would appear, if speculation is correct, the West Ham United youngster, Reece Oxford, will not be returning to the club on a permanent basis.

According to reports on the news vehicle, the BBC, Oxford is a target for the Bundesliga side, RB Leipzig.

Although Oxford is on a season-long loan with another Bundesliga side, Borussia Monchengladbach, the ambitions RB Leipzig are of the opinion they could capture the 19-year-old for a fee of £8 million now with the fee rising to £16.88 million with the usual add-ons.

Furthermore, the insinuation is given that David Moyes has sanctioned the deal.

However, if that is the case, then Oxford cannot move directly from his current club to his new one, he`d have to return to West Ham United before any deal can be done with RB Leipzig.

But, if the speculation is correct and a deal is done, is anyone else of the opinion we`re letting another diamond slip through our fingers?
