It wasn`t that long ago that I was of the opinion those behind the scenes, at West Ham United, would reward David Moyes for his endeavours with a contract beyond the end of this season.

Now I`m not so sure what with the side once again, flirting with grabbing one of those relegation places everyone wants to avoid.

Flicking through various news sources, and hard on the heels of being linked with Manuel Pellegrini, as reported by Vital West Ham, Click Here, another news source is linking West Ham United with the acquisition of another manager who has Premier League experience.

The manager in question, according to The Express is Marco Silva.

Silva was in charge of Hull City when they were relegated and, this season, was axed as the boss of Watford after the Hertfordshire club started the season well but fell away dramatically after Silva was refused permission to talk to Everton about the vacant managerial position there.

Although rated as a talented young manager, am I the only one who feels that if Moyes isn`t kept on then appointing Marco Silva could be a huge risk?
