It is a serious question and one that could be answered soon.

Speculation is doing the rounds that Sam Allardyce and the West Ham board are taking a serious interest in bringing the Argentine midfielder Esteban Cambiasso to East London.

The 34 year-old player is a free agent after his contract came to an end at Inter Milan and with a curriculum vitae that includes playing for two giants of the game in Real Madrid and Inter Milan would, even though he`s now 34 years of age, represent a rea coup for our club.

As far as we can make out, West Ham have opposition in the shape of Aston Villa for the player but are looking to offer him £50,000 a week to choose the London claret and blue option.

Our question to you is – Would the signing of Esteban Cambiasso meet with your approval?
