West Ham secured consecutive Premier League victories for the first time this season after sweeping aside Cardiff City on Tuesday evening.
The Hammers entered the match in good form after beating Newcastle United at the weekend and continued in the same fashion at the London Stadium, securing all three points after a superb second-half display.
However, it did not all go swimmingly for Manuel Pellegrini’s side as Marko Arnautovic was forced off in the first half after suffering a knock, being replaced by Lucas Perez, and the substitution created havoc for a variety of supporters on social media.
Many took to Twitter to state that they had Arnautovic in their FPL side for the midweek fixtures, some of whom even used the Austrian international as their captain, and his early departure created problems in their hunt for points.
We have gathered some of the reactions below.

My captain uggh. Went with him after debating if I should have gone with Wilson. Fantasy needs to also sub players that get injured in the first half. 0 points from my captain… Time to sleep
