Having already secured the signature of Andriy Yarmolenko, we’re on the verge of completing another sensational signing in the form of Felipe Anderson.
As the Daily Mail reports, we’re closing in on the signing of Felipe Anderson from Lazio following our work permit application. It’s reported that the work permit is the final hurdle in a deal that could cost the club £40M. Also, it’s believed that Anderson is incredibly keen to work with Manuel Pellegrini.
Here’s how the Hammers have reacted to the news on Twitter.
What a great signing that would be.If it happens will have th congratulate the board.

This could be possibly the best week in West Ham’s history for transfers if we get Anderson done by weekend or Saturday) or even next Monday — Tuesday)

If we get this one over the line it will have been one hell of a window!

Well when you bring in a manager of Pellegrini calibre you have to tell the board no messing about.! Because he wont.! Looking forward to the new season.!

Felipe Anderson may actually be happening. Huge signing, haven't had a player with his technical ability, creativity, agility, flair, skill, pace on and off the ball in years. Not "world class" but he's someone the team is crying out for. #whufc #coyi

Doing absolute bits this window. Looks as if Felipe Anderson will be the next one as well. Still fancy we need another CM in there. #COYI

Verdict:
The 25-year-old is exceedingly talented, and he could prove to be the perfect addition to the team. Over the course of his career with the Italian side, Anderson has amassed a creditable total of 34 goals in 177 appearances.
The Brazilian is incredibly versatile and flaunts tremendous attacking qualities. He’s an incredibly good talent, and he could prove to be a hugely significant player for us.
