Many West Ham United fans have been naming David Moyes’ successor when he eventually leaves the London Stadium.
Dave Walker on Twitter was not pleased with the results under the Scottish tactician and opened up to the idea for the former disgraced England manager to make a return to turn their fortunes around.
Allardyce remains as one of the few managers that has never been relegated, with the Hammers genuinely flirting with the idea in 17th place, level on points with Bournemouth.
Despite this, he upset the London Stadium faithful during his time at the club after criticising the “West Ham way” and described the scathing scrutiny against him by the fans as “nonsense”.
Surprisingly, supporters were keen on the idea of seeing Allardyce return to the club and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he hated that he agreed with this statement, while another stated that he would be “game” for the idea.
Similar styles. The difference is one gets results and one doesn’t.
Moyes was an atrocious appointment, made against the fans wishes.

I hate the fact that this is a valid opinion. Even more so, I hate how I agree with this opinion.

Couldn’t agree more – this illusion of the west ham way is just embarrassing. It basically means losing often but pretending we’re doing it in a nice way

Genuinely get the sentiment of this, and it would work. However we spent months and months getting the bloke out. Would be a real difficult pride swallow to allow him back. If it was truly for 7 games though I’d take it.

Makes me laugh this. Everyone slaughtered him and couldn’t wait to get rid now we are hoping he’d return and help us to survive, only to slaughter him again for his boring long ball tactics that nobody wanted at West Ham anyway. 🤔😶
