West Ham United fans have been reacting on Twitter to Manuel Pellegrini’s tactical decisions during the defeat to Wolves on Tuesday night.
The Hammers travelled to Molineux sitting in tenth place, but could have moved above Wolves by taking all three points.
Of course,West Ham went on to lose 3-0, which proved enough to drop Pellegrini’s side to 11th, and move closer to the bottom three than the European places.
For many of the London Stadium faithful, they laid the blame directly at Pellegrini’s door, as the Chilean failed to affect the game through his substitutions.
Even before making the enforced change for Marko Arnautovic, who the former Manchester City boss replaced with Javier Hernandez, West Ham were off the pace as the hosts piled on the pressure.
Despite the 0-0 scoreline at the break, Wolves had registered eleven shots to West Ham’s two. Nuno Espirito Santos’ half-time team talk seemed to do the trick, however, as again they came out firing but this time found the net, three times without reply.
For these West Ham fans, the Chilean’s efforts on the touchline did not cut it…
Double sub for #WHUFC sees Obiang and Carroll replace Noble and Snodgrass. Has Pellegrini lost the plot? #WOL 1-0 #WHUFC

Was disappointed. At the subs all 3 have no interest in playing for West ham. Would rather 3 hungry lads come on

Even 1st half? We were lucky to go in 0-0. Wolves shouldve been 1-2 up + had a penalty. Pellegrini’ sub timing were poor aswell, shouldve changed formation long b4 Wolves scored https://t.co/gAuROqh4Zh
