A tough trip to the Emirates Stadium, to take on Arsenal, is on the agenda for the Hammers this weekend.
The third game of the 2018 / 2019 season sees both clubs still looking to earn their first points of the new season, with both clubs lurking at the bottom end of the table.
Earlier today, Manuel Pellegrini held his pre-match press conference. The boss revealed that there is one new injury doubt for the trip:

With that doubt being Mark Noble.
The news has been greeted by a degree of scepticism by the Hammers support on social media with there being numerous comments implying that when it comes to this injury, all may not be as it seems:
Haha called this, this is just a cover up for him getting dropped

Dont have the balls to admit he is dropped? What a shame

Looks like noble has read the flack he is getting and has finally withdrew himself from the team

After our poor start to the season, a start that has seen the Hammers fail to get a single point, despite the massive investment in the summer transfer window, it seems that the Hammers support have identified Mark as the fall guy.
Whether it’s deserved or not I’ll leave you to decide but I always thought that when the going gets tough it’s better if we all stick together and offer a show of loyalty.
