Hammers Support Acknowledge Great Performance From Their Keeper As He Keeps Chelsea At Bay

Against Chelsea, this afternoon, West Ham United could have taken all three points.

However, it was one of those games where as well as winning it we could quite easily have lost it.

Chelsea arrived at the London Stadium with a 100% record in the Premier League this season but could have been beaten out of sight this afternoon.

If only the Hammers could finish!

In the first half Antonio had two decent opportunities to score but didn’t, whilst in the second half, Yarmolenko put a header wide when it looked easier to score.

But, returning to the ‘either side could have won’ assumption, the Hammers only took a point because of the antics of Fabianski in the West Ham goal.

Late on, with Chelsea pushing to maintain their 100% record Morata looked odds-on to score from close-range but Fabianski threw himself at the ball and managed to keep it out courtesy of the ball hitting him smack in the face.
