Hammers Summer Spending Splurge Set To Continue As Club Looks To Bring In A French Defender

|

The Hammers most productive summer transfer window we can ever remember shows no signs of abating.

With the West Ham squad boosted by the arrival of eight players this summer, there is speculation appearing in the media that suggests a ninth signing, of the summer transfer window, shouldn’t be ruled out.

Lurking in the pages of the news source, the Daily Mail, is the insinuation that the West Ham are looking to add another defender to the squad.

The defender in question is Harold Moukoudi, a highly rated 20-year-old who is currently on the books of the French side, Le Havre.

Our referenced source infers that West Ham are looking to make an offer of £10 million for the talented youngster.

However, if the club are successful in signing Moukoudi, it remains to be seen whether the player will be part of Manuel Pellegrini’s starting eleven from the off or whether, at 20-years-of-age, he’ll be classified as one for the future.

Whatever the case, one thing is certain, at the moment, these are wonderful times to be a Hammer and our excitement, with regards to the new season, is growing by the hour.
