Hammers Set To Continue Summer Spending Spree As The Signings Continue To Arrive

|

These really are exciting times at West Ham United Football Club.

Following on from completing the signing of Issa Diop, for a club record fee of £22 million, speculation continues to mount inferring that the Hammers are set to smash that transfer fee with the acquisition of a midfielder.

In recent days, speculation relating to the possible acquisition of the Lazio player, Felipe Anderson, has been very prevalent in the media.

Anderson, 25-years-of-age, is a winger who would bring another dimension to the Hammers play.

However, the price that Lazio are asking for the Brazilian has been a stumbling block.

But, according to the news source, the Telegraph, the Hammers are confident of securing a deal for the player with a fee of £35 million being spent.

Following the ending of the 2017 / 2018 season, there were mutterings coming from the club hierarchy that West Ham were set to spend big this summer, it now looks, following the signing of Issa Diop for £22 million and the ongoing chase for Felipe Anderson, that is going to be exactly the case.

These certainly are exciting times for the Hammers, here’s hoping that the Anderson deal gets done and dusted pretty shortly.
