After a summer of furious transfer activity, a summer where West Ham United have excelled in the transfer market, our first fixture of the season has duly arrived.
As far as opening fixtures go, they don’t come much harder than a trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool.
But, here at Vital West Ham, we’re hoping that the contest will give our side the opportunity to show that they are capable of making a huge impact in the Premier League this season and that the huge amount of money spent has been used well.
