On Saturday, against a poor Southampton side, it was the Hammers on-loan midfielder, Joao Mario, that set West Ham on the road to victory with the opening goal of the game.

The 25-year-old midfielder arrived at the club on loan from Inter Milan, in the January transfer window, however, according to the good folk of the Times, the players future at the club has yet to be decided.

Our aforementioned source carries a quote, attributed to our manager David Moyes, which reads,

“I wouldn`t want to even comment on that now, because I won`t make any decisions or even look at it yet. I`ll take my time, see what he`s got, and see where we`re going to go.”

But which way do you reckon the pendulum will swing on this one?

Do you sit in the camp which believes that the player has done enough to secure a permanent move or are you of the belief that he needs to do more to become a permanent Iron?
