Hammers Legend Champions ‘The Axing Moyes Was Wrong’ Campaign

|

With the Hammers having failed to register a single point, so far this season, from four games played in the Premier League, questions are being asked, especially considering the money the club spent in the summer, whether getting rid of David Moyes, last May, was the wisest of moves.

Lurking in the popular tabloid news publication, the Mirror, is some stinging criticism from the former Hammers striker, Tony Cottee.

Cottee, in his role as a football pundit, is of the opinion axing David Moyes, after he’d accomplished the club mantra of ensuring our Premier League status was assured, was a hasty judgement.

Questions are being asked as to whether the £100+ million Pellegrini authorised the spending of, in the summer transfer window, was wisely spent.

The insinuation is being made that Moyes, given the chance, could have spent the money far more wisely whilst also taking the team on to the next level.

But, what are your feelings on the subject matter?
