Hammers Interested In A Reformed Bad Boy Claim

|

Struggling to find a decent piece of transfer speculation to cover, this little beauty suddenly shone out the brightest.

The news source, Talksport, are reporting that the Hammers are showing an interest in bringing a striker to the club who has something of a reputation.

This striker is more than capable of scoring a hatful of goals but, in the past, has had a tendency to hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

We are, of course, talking about Mario Balotelli.

Balotelli, still only 27-years-of age, has been playing in the French League with OGC Nice, however, his contract expires this summer meaning the striker could be available for a free transfer.

Furthermore, it seems that the bad-boy image has been shed with the striker, last season, concentrating on his performances on the pitch.

With Manuel Pellegrini looking to revitalise the Hammers side this summer, the striker, who scored 18 goals last season and also earned a recall to the Italian squad, could be the perfect acquisition.

Here at Vital West Ham, we’d be prepared to see the club take what many perceive to be a risk on Balotelli. His pace, strength and ability to hit the net would serve the club well. But, one reservation would relate to Balotelli living close to the bright lights of London, could that see the return of the bad-boy image?

But, what are your feelings on the subject matter?

Would you like to see Mario Balotelli wearing the claret and blue shirt on a regular basis?
