Hammers Hopes Of Signing Pastore Are Fading

|

Any aspirations West Ham United have relating to bringing the Argentine midfielder, Javier Pastore, to the club, could be set to be dealt a savage blow.

Here at Vital West Ham, over the weekend, we reported on how the Paris Saint-Germain star, Click Here, had been linked with a move to our neck-of-the-woods.

Unfortunately, according to the news source, the Sun, it appears that the 28-year-old could possibly be heading from French football to Italian football with Roma a destination being mentioned.

Our source, in discussing the situation, carries some quotes that are attributed to Pastore’s agent, Marcelo Simonian, remarks that read,

“We’ve only just started talking with Roma.

“An offer to PSG? No, there’s still nothing. I haven’t talked to him because we don’t have any offers yet, but everyone likes Roma.”

Is the writing on the wall as far as this deal is concerned?

If so, sat here in the editorial chair I’d admit a failure to sign Pastore would be a blow, as Manuel Pellegrini looks to turn things around at the London Stadium, bringing in the Argentine international would have been a significant achievement. However, we’re realistic enough to know that not every bid to bring a player to West Ham will be successful, clearly, this particular deal could be a case of some you win and some you lose.
