Hammers Given Tough But Winnable Tie In Carabao Cup 4th Round Draw

|

Last night at 21:00 hours UK time, the draw for the fourth round of the Carabao Cup was made.

After thrashing Macclesfield Town, 8-0, in the third round, the Hammers support were eagerly waiting to see who their side would be paired with.

As it turns out, the draw provided West Ham United with, quite possibly, the tie of the round, with the Hammers being drawn against their London neighbours Tottenham Hotspur.

The tie, which we believe will be shown live by Sky Sports, such is the attractive nature of the draw, will be played in the week commencing 29th October

If question marks were asked about the disappointing size of the crowd for the tie with Macclesfield, this humdinger of a draw should see the London Stadium packed to capacity.

The Hammers support, perhaps, may have wanted an easier tie, Burton Albion (h) would have been nice, but if you are going to win a domestic cup you, invariably, have to face the good teams sooner or later!
