Four games into the 2018 / 2019 season and the Hammers are still waiting for their first win of the season.
Sat at the bottom of the Premier league table isn’t where we envisaged our club would be after the huge summer transfer window expenditure.
However, it still is early days and there is plenty of time to change matters around.
This afternoon, the travelling West Ham support will be heading off to Goodison Park hoping that their side can get that first elusive victory of the season.
Ahead of the game, we used our poll facility to ask how you believe the game will end.
We left you the obligatory three options to choose from:
• Everton to win.
• West Ham to win.
and
• A draw.
As hoped, we had a good response.
Of the votes cast, 50% of those who voted are of the opinion that the Hammers will get a victory this afternoon.
A further 33% are of the belief that the outcome of the fixture will be a draw.
A mere 17% believe the rot will continue with Everton taking the three points on offer, thereby condemning the Hammers to 5 defeats from their opening 5 fixtures which would be the first time that has happened in our history.
Here’s hoping the majority are right.
