Hammers Edging Very Close To Securing a Deal For A Premier League Midfielder

|

With the 2018 / 2019 Premier League season not that far away, it would seem that West Ham United have moved closer to making another summer signing.

After being told that his future, at Arsenal, wasn’t to be as rosy as he hoped, the former England midfielder, Jack Wilshere, has been linked with moves to several clubs.

However, according to the news source, the Sun, it is the Hammers that have emerged as the favourites to land the 26-year-old.

Our referenced source is reporting that Wilshere has been offered a three-year-deal which equates to a weekly salary of £100,000 a week, slightly less than the reputed £110,000 a week the player was on at Arsenal.

Signing Wilshere would give the Hammers added impetus in the middle of the park, providing the player can stay fit.

Here at Vital West Ham, we’d be delighted if the club can conclude this deal, Wilshere will arrive at the London Stadium with a point to prove.

Firstly, he’ll be looking to show Arsenal that they were wrong to allow him to leave and secondly, at 26-years-of-age, Wilshere will be looking to produce the kind of performances that could propel him back into the international scene.

Here’s hoping that the conclusion of the deal is announced shortly.

But what are your views on the ‘imminent’ signing of Jack Wilshere?

Does it get your approval or are you not so keen?
