Hammers Deal To Secure Midfielders Signature Moving Closer

|

The 26-year-old former England international is available on a free transfer after being told his first-team opportunities would be limited at the North London club.

Today, it would appear that the chances of the deal being successfully concluded have improved with the respected news source, the Times, reporting that the medical part of the deal has now commenced.

If no problems are found our source is implying that Wilshere will put pen-to-paper on a three-year contract worth a reputed £5 million.

However, there is still a long way to go and it wouldn’t be unusual if another club were to step in with an offer for the player.

Therefore, although things appear to be heading in the right direction, here at Vital West Ham we’ll save our celebrations until the deal is officially announced by the club, it’s surely the right thing to do.
