The Hammers have had a tough season so far, but with Marko Arnauivic leading the line, anything is possible. Earlier in the season, he seemed like the only player capable of producing any magic, and whilst some of his teammates have now joined the party, the onus on him to impress under Mauricio Pellegrini is still there.
Fortunately, impress he most certainly has. He’s already bagged 4 league goals so far this season, and we’re expecting him to bag many more as the season continues.
He’s been a star for club and country so far this year, and so it’s no real surprise that, as per the official West Ham Twitter page, the Austrian is in FIFA’s official Team of the Week.

Unsurprisingly, this has generated a lot of talk amongst the West Ham faithful online, both young and old, and it’s fair to say that many of the more very happy indeed. Between comments stating that he’ll be going straight in their own teams, through to hopes that he’s able to keep his form up, Arnautovic is undeniably the man of the moment at the London Stadium.
Take a look at what fans have had to say below…
