Many West Ham United fans were pleased with Andriy Yarmolenko’s performance during his side’s 1-1 draw against Aston Villa on Sunday.
It was the Hammers’ final game of the season which meant that they finished 16th in the standings, as the 30-year-old cancelled out Jack Grealish’s opener deep into the second half.
With this in mind, it wasn’t just his goal that they were pleased about as his statistics will back up.

Because of this, supporters were pleased with Yarmolenko’s outing and made their feelings clear on social media. Two fans described him as the “Soviet Salah” and a “king”, while another suggested that he should be given a knighthood.
