Some West Ham United fans have been lauding the Hammers’ co-owner David Sullivan after making a generous donation to a local charity.
With football currently suspended, we have not seen anything in regards to action on the pitch, as the Premier League continue to meet with clubs to implement Project Restart.
But that has not stopped West Ham’s board room members from keeping busy. The club’s official website revealed that Sullivan has made a personal endowment to Newham Foodbank of £3,500 to cover the deficiency that have been absent over non-existent matchdays.
What is David Sullivan best doing for West Ham?
Leave the club
Invest, Invest, Invest!
Despite this, Sullivan is a deeply unpopular figure at the London Stadium, along with his colleagues David Gold and Karen Brady after a series of calamitous decisions being made under the trio’s watch.
Surprisingly, supporters were quick to praise the detested owner and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he deserves a knighthood, while another believed that “Sky won’t report on this”.

I’m very clear about my distaste for the owners but it’s nice that he’s done this 👏🏻
And in typical fashion the comments just slate how it’s only a small amount donated and it shouldn’t have gone public 🙄 https://t.co/Ygo8AFIpuH
