West Ham supporters have hardly had the best season so far throughout 2019/20, and it is widely reported that Manuel Pellegrini could find himself at the jobcentre on Monday morning should he fail to beat Southampton, which would leave a place for a caretaker manager to take charge at the club.
West Ham are ready to ask Steve Potts and Kevin Keen to take temporary charge next week if they lose this weekend and have not agreed a deal with someone to replace Pellegrini immediately.

The Hammers have got a lot of thinking to do when it comes to bringing in a new permanent manager, but when looking at an interim, caretaker basis, the Irons are supposedly looking at bringing in Steve Potts and Kevin Keen, according to Football Insider.
The fans, it seems absolutely love this idea, even if most of the news and rumours coming out of the club as of late have left the supporters groaning and full of frustration. This one looks like it could actually be a smart move from the board, which is unheard of, and it would surely earn the board some praise if they made this call.
Will a change of manager improve Felipe Anderson's form?
Yes
No

Is it only me who likes the sound of this. Two guys who know the club very well and what we stand for and will demand 100% from each player, something we haven’t had from a manager in a long time

Get Stevie Potts in now, my hero as a kid. Bleeds Claret & Blue, he knows what’s demanded when you pull on the shirt.

The Hammers have got a lot of time for Potts and Keen, and should Pellegrini go this weekend the appointing the pair on a short-term basis looks smart.
