Events over in West London where Mohamed Al Fayed has sold Fulham, after being the owner for 16 years, could have ramifications for West Ham United.

With Shahid Khan installed as the new owner and promising to take Fulham to another level, Sam Allardyce feels that being able to splash the cash may affect our own transfer policy with Big Sam quoted as having remarked, following the takeover,

“Now Fulham are in new hands it will make it harder to attract players to West Ham as they will probably pay more money than us. Shahid Khan has inherited a successful Premier League side.”

Strange, I never looked at it in that manner before, but I guess Sam is right!
