‘From laughing stock to fan favourite’: Some West Ham fans are thrilled with improvement of former outcast

|

West Ham’s winless streak was extended to three matches following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Leicester City, a result which leaves the Hammers languishing in 13th position in the Premier League – just three points above the relegation zone.

While the disappointing results are raising concern, there have been positives for supporters to take and the resurgence of Robert Snodgrass this season has caught the eye for many.

Signed in January last year, Snodgrass quickly fell out of favour in East London but impressed on loan with Aston Villa during the 2017-18 season before being handed a second chance by Manuel Pellegrini this season.

Snodgrass has featured in all of West Ham’s ten Premier League matches so far this season and, while he is yet to score or provide an assist, the Scotland international has earned vast praise from supporters.

Further delight was shown to the 31-year-old after his display against the Foxes and we have gathered some of the best reactions below.
