West Ham have struggled for consistency during the first few months of Manuel Pellegrini’s reign in East London but now have a platform to build upon in the coming weeks.
The Hammers swept aside Burnley at the London Stadium on Saturday, taking all three points in only their third win of the Premier League season after securing a 4-2 victory over Sean Dyche’s side.
A key part of the victory was the fine performance shown by club-record signing Felipe Anderson, who scored a brace and struck the post in a display that answers some of his critics after a forgetful 45 minutes in the EFL Cup against Tottenham last week.
The Brazilian ace has now scored three goals and contributed one assist in West Ham’s 11 Premier League games so far this season and, having found it difficult to find his feet in English football, the hope is that he can now kick on to become a star.
We have gathered some of the best reactions to Felipe Anderson’s latest display below.
Have we found our Eden hazard

Proving everyone wrong, just because he cost £40m doesn’t mean he will be an instant success people really need to give players time to adapt, and get off his back when he has an off day

The confidence in the lad is filling nicely….but he needs to work harder with his team mates so they understand his style of footie!

He’s now finding his feet for sure. Could have had 5 yesterday. Diagana’s got some game too.

Today was massive for West Ham. The bottom line is we delivered. Well done to the boys and well done to Felipe Anderson who`s had a bit of stick recently but he`s shown that he can be a big player for us and provide special moments when it`s needed. A big win today, COYI!!
