According to Calciomercato, West Ham are looking into trying to sign Kerem Demirbay from Hoffenheim in the summer window.
The Hammers probably should have held on for a win over the weekend but we failed to see it out and it seems as though a European spot is going to be very tough to reach now.
We need to add in the summer, then, and it seems as though Kerem Demirbay could be one that comes in – and that’s something that should excite us as fans.
A player that can play through the middle of the park, he is good as a central and attacking midfielder.
He provides more mobility and threat than those already at the club and has scored four goals and set-up seven this season in the Bundesliga.
In his mid-2o’s, he’s approaching the prime of his career, too, and so it would make real sense for us to be excited by his potential arrival. Simply, he would give us an added dimension from deep.
