‘Fans now see through them for what they are’ – Hammers fans angered over Harry Redknapp’s comments on owners

|

With so many West Ham fans losing patience with the club’s owners, David Sullivan and David Gold, over player signings, moving to the new stadium and sticking with Manuel Pellegrini, Harry Redknapp has expressed his confusion at the fans anger towards the owners.

Whilst writing his column for the Sun, Redknapp states how there have been many positives for fans to enjoy under Gold and Sullivan and instead questions the caliber of players brought into the club recently. But Hammers fans don’t seem to agree with Redknapp.

Gold and Sullivan are still obviously disliked amongst Hammers fans with few struggling to see any benefit the owners have brought to the club recently. These fans feel Redknapp has an agenda of his own by backing the West Ham owners.

Harry Redknapp’s comments are controversial and poorly timed with Pellegrini still under intense pressure and fans unhappy with the state of affairs at West Ham on and off the pitch. The overall agreement is that the owners haven’t invested enough in the squad recently and have made some poor decisions over the past few years.
