The arrival of Joe Hart, from Manchester City, on a season-long loan, was supposed to rejuvenate the goalkeepers career.

Having been deemed surplus to requirements by Manchester City and having spent last season on loan at the Italian club, Torino, Hart was desperate for his Hammers career to be a success in order to remain part of the England squad for the forthcoming 2018 World Cup in Russia.

But, in recent weeks, Hart has seen Adrian take over the role as first-choice goalkeeper with the 30-year-old only getting first-team action in the domestic cups.

However, with West Ham having exited the FA Cup, at the 4th round stage, humiliated by Wigan Athletic of League One, you fear that Hart is going to see less first-team football, with Moyes playing Adrian in the Premier League fixtures.

With this being the case, Hart, who was once the first-choice England goalkeeper, must be fearful of not making Gareth Southgate`s squad, when it is announced, for the festival of football this summer.

It would seem the season-long loan-spell hasn`t quite served the purpose Joe expected it to do.
