Yesterday we ran an article pointing you all in the direction of the fact that cheap tickets were available for the Capital One Cup tie against Sheffield United this evening.

It`s often said that the League Cup has lost some of its importance and romance over the years, however we`d like to point out that to us, the supporters; it remains one of only two routes to a domestic cup final.

To that effect, although we realize the importance of the Premier League and the financial bounties it brings, a good cup run can bring some much needed confidence into the camp.

Therefore, we hope that Sam Allardyce doesn`t rest too many of the starting eleven selected against Crystal Palace last Saturday, as Wembley isn`t, as far as this competition is concerned, too far away.

Now as for those cheap tickets, it appears that the followers of Sheffield United haven`t latched on to the romanticism of the cup with it being reported that the Yorkshire based club have only sold 900 of their allocation of 3500 tickets
