Without question, the mood among West Ham supporters is infectiously ecstatic. We’ve made some incredibly purposeful moves in the transfer window. That said, the nature of the window dictates that players must leave, and Michail Antonio has been linked with a move away from the club.
According to the Daily Mirror live blog (Thursday), Crystal Palace are contemplating a £15M for the versatile West Ham man. Given the signing of Andriy Yarmolenko and the imminent arrival of Felipe Anderson, it’s likely that Antonio’s involvement will be significantly reduced with the Irons.
Here’s how West Ham supporters have responded to the rumours on Twitter.
I’d be gutted if we was to sell Michail Antonio, I really do believe he will become a great player under Pellegrini, much like Arnautovic did under Moyes.

Not good technically and can't really pass, don't think The boss likes players like that. No big miss IMO

Everyone’s favourite when he was bang on form. A few unfortunate injuries and late for a team meeting and suddenly fickle fans say his head’s not in it 🤷♂️

Verdict:
The 28-year-old has performed commendably for us during his time as a West Ham player, and a total of 21 goals in 90 appearances is undoubtedly a decent return. However, if we are intent on progressing as a club, and possibly reaching Europe, then we must ensure that we target players of a higher calibre – as we’ve achieved with Yarmolenko and Anderson.
