We’re at the stage of the season whereby we’re poised ready to get involved with the ‘out with the old and in with the new’ transfer speculation.
But, with the managerial hot-seat, at West Ham United Football Club, not yet occupied, we don’t expect to be flooded with transfer speculation just yet.
However, we are, over the coming days hoping to find a steady stream to report on.
Today, just enjoying what has been a bright weekend, I’ve stumbled upon something that I hope isn’t true.
A tweet on the social network
West Ham forward Michail Antonio is a target for Crystal Palace. His versatility has impressed Roy Hodgson, however they fear that The Hammers‘ valuation could be too high.

implies that Crystal Palace may be interested in acquiring the talents of Michail Antonio.
Now we can hardly blame Roy Hodgson from showing an interest in the versatile Antonio, when fit he’s a class act and I’m of the opinion that if he hadn’t been afflicted by injuries this season then he’d be looking forward to a trip to the World Cup, with England.
But, what I’d like to see is any such speculation shot-down at the source.
If under the acumen of a new manager, we’re to take great strides forward, then players of the ilk of Antonio must be kept at the club, otherwise, that familiar phrase, selling club, will be prominent again.
How about it Hammers?
