West Ham fans are in a good mood this week after the club ending a four-match winless streak in all competitions by defeating Burnley at the weekend.
A brace from summer-signing Felipe Anderson, added to by Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez, secured only a third Premier League victory of the season for Manuel Pellegrini’s side and has raised confidence.
One of the positives taken from the victory at the London Stadium was the performance of Grady Diangana, who made his fourth Premier League appearance and contributed an assist in the victory.
Hopes are high for the 20-year-old, who could follow Declan Rice from the academy into a regular first-team position, and some fans cheekily took the opportunity to compare their starlet to Crystal Palace ace Wilfried Zaha.
The Ivory Coast international has earned a reputation for going down too easily and has been singled out for criticism on a number of occasions – with some West Ham fans successfully baiting rival supporters with posts on social media.
We have gathered some of the best responses below.
