West Ham have found it difficult to find consistency in the first few months of Manuel Pellegrini’s spell in charge, winning just three of their opening 11 Premier League matches.
Admittedly, the Hammers have faced a tough start after already come toe-to-toe with five of last season’s top-six and a more favourable run of fixtures is on the horizon.
Pellegrini’s side face a struggling Huddersfield side this weekend before clashing with Pep Guardiola’s unstoppable Manchester City and December looks set to be a crucial period in the Hammers’ campaign with a host of winnable matches.
West Ham have seven matches in December, with another clash against Brighton on the 1st January, and some fans on social media have been discussing their expectations for the fixtures – and it is fair to say opinions vary.
While there are individuals who are hoping for a fine run of results, others are less optimistic and believe it could be a difficult spell in the season. We have gathered some of the best reactions below.
The West Ham December: Newcastle, Cardiff, Palace, Fulham, Watford Southampton, Burnley, Brighton….. on our best day that's 24 points in 30 days. Of course….things don't usually work out that way in West Ham World.

15 I recon, Burnley away and Newcastle have been dodgy last few years, Watford have been decent a few times so depends which Watford turns up other than that it recon we can do well
