Collins linked with Stoke move

Reports today see Jimmy Collins moving to Stoke City for £5 million.

The big centre-back started Saturday’s game against Wolves alongside Matty Upson, and has been a big part of Zola’s first-team squad. However, we are blessed in the centre-back position with Gabbidon, Tomkins and Davenport ready to step in.

Zola has said that he does not want any departures, but if he could raise £5 million by selling Collins and that money can be re-invested in a striker it could be a possible. It would certainly be better to sell Collins rather than Upson.
